Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Accountant located in Kolathur, Chennai. The General Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements and reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations and financial legislation. The individual will also handle bank reconciliations, complete ledger operations, and assist in audits as required.

Role and responsibilities

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial legislation.

Handle complete ledger operations and maintain general ledger accuracy.

Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary data and support.

Salary - 1.8 LPA to 3 LPA (based on candidate's profile)

Qualification : Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting & finance or any equivalent degree.
