As Aereo embarks on its next growth phase, transitioning from founder-led agility to process-led scalability, we are looking for a General Manager- People & Culture to build a high- performance, customer-centric, and product-focused culture across global teams.
Role Objective
To lead Aereo’s human capital strategy by architecting scalable people systems, developing leadership and capability pipelines, and fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and accountability. The role demands a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team, balancing the needs of rapid business expansion, organizational transformation, and global workforce integration.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to translate Aereo’s vision into a cohesive people strategy aligned with business goals.
- Drive the transition from founder-led to process-led growth, establishing strong performance systems, governance, and decision frameworks.
- Develop a scalable organization structure to support domestic turnkey contracts and international expansion.
Culture & People Experience
Champion a customer-centric and product-focused culture that fosters collaboration between Engineering, Product, Operations, and sales.Design and execute programs to reinforce Aereo’s core values, innovation mindset, and accountability culture.Lead internal communication, engagement, and recognition programs that align individual success with organizational outcomes.Talent Acquisition & Capability Building
Build a strong talent acquisition engine for technical, commercial, and global roles.Establish Aereo Academy 2.0 for ongoing skill development across engineering, field ops, AI / data, and commercial teams.Implement robust onboarding and capability frameworks for new leaders, project managers, and SDRs to accelerate productivity.Performance & Rewards
Design a performance-driven rewards system linking OKRs to measurable outcomes across functions.Build transparent compensation structures and incentive frameworks to retain high performers.Introduce leadership development and succession programs for key roles.Organisational Development & Change Management
Lead transformation programs for process-driven scalability, cross-functional collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.Strengthen middle management capability to manage upcoming turnkey mining contracts and international operations.Partner with functional heads to align people processes (goal setting, reviews, career growth) with Aereo’s business roadmap.HR Systems & Compliance
Drive HR digitization, integrating recruitment, performance, and learning systems with existing tools (Zoho, com, etc.).Ensure compliance with labour laws, ESOP policies, global workforce regulations, and international employment structures.
