Position : Business Development Manger
Location : Mumbai
A client in financial services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to support the growth and expansion of our AMC services portfolio.
This role is pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and driving revenue generation through strategic initiatives and targeted market penetration.
Key Responsibilities :
Enhance Retail Coverage :
o Expand the AMC’s presence across retail distribution channels including IFAs, national distributors and regional distributors
o Onboard new partners to widen the geographic and demographic reach.
Relationship Management :
o Maintain and deepen engagement with existing distribution partners.
o Regularly interact with channel partners to understand their needs and align AMC offerings accordingly.
Sales Focus Areas :
o Drive business through consistent promotion of SIPs (Systematic Investment Plans) to ensure long-term retail flows.
o Actively work towards increasing penetration of PMS (Portfolio Management Services) and AIFs (Alternative Investment Funds) through retail distribution.
o Ensure timely approvals and empanelment of AMC products across distribution partners.
Business Promotion & Campaigns :
o Plan and execute business promotion activities, joint marketing campaigns, and retail-focused initiatives in collaboration with channel partners.
o Monitor campaign performance and course-correct to achieve business objectives.
Market Share Growth :
o Strategize and implement initiatives to increase AMC’s wallet share across key distribution partners.
o Analyze competitor activities and adapt sales strategies to gain market edge.
Investor & Partner Engagement :
o Organize and conduct investor awareness programs, partner meets, and investor education initiatives in alignment with regulatory guidelines.
o Represent the AMC at various industry forums, seminars, and local events to build brand visibility and trust.
Reporting & Analysis :
o Track sales performance against targets and report key metrics to leadership.
o Provide market feedback for product and strategy alignment.
