Job description

We are looking for experienced Taxation Head to lead tax function across Direct and Indirect Taxation, with a strong focus on GST compliance and strategy. This is a critical leadership role that requires a deep understanding of tax laws applicable to internet, e-commerce, and consumer tech companies.

Key Responsibilities :

Indirect Taxation :

  • Ensure accurate and timely GST filings, reconciliations, and compliance for all entities.
  • Lead GST audits, assessments, and manage correspondence with tax authorities.
  • Optimize GST structure across business units to drive cost efficiency and compliance.

Direct Taxation :

  • Oversee corporate tax planning, filings, and compliance.
  • Liaise with tax advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders on direct tax matters.
  • Ensure timely advance tax calculations and TDS compliance.

    • People Management :

  • Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 tax professionals.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and compliance.

    • Preferred Candidate Profile :

  • Educational qualification - CA / CMA / MBA finance

    • Experience : 7+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in taxation, preferably in internet, e-commerce, or consumer tech companies with multi-entity structures.

    Skills : Strong analytical skills, stakeholder management, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Prior experience in leading a team and dealing with senior leadership / CXO-level stakeholders.
  • Immediate joiners or shorter notice period strongly preferred.
