Carenami is a Silicon Valley–based startup disrupting the senior care space in the United States. We are building the “ Uber for Senior Care ”, a technology-enabled platform that connects seniors with fully vetted, trained, and compassionate caregivers. Our mission is to make high-quality, flexible senior care accessible and affordable for families across the US.

As we scale rapidly, we are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Caregiver Recruiter & Scheduler to join our team and play a pivotal role in building our caregiver workforce and delivering an exceptional client experience.

Role Overview

The Caregiver Recruiter & Scheduler will be responsible for finding exceptional caregiver talent, managing their onboarding, and scheduling them effectively to meet client needs. This is a high-impact role that directly contributes to Carenami’s growth, operational excellence, and ability to deliver trusted care.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Conduct phone screenings and video interviews with caregiver candidates.
  • Assess candidates’ communication skills, caregiving experience, professionalism, and culture fit.
  • Manage the end-to-end hiring workflow—from sourcing to selection.

Onboarding

  • Coordinate onboarding and documentation for newly hired caregivers.
  • Ensure candidates complete required training, background checks, and compliance steps.
  • Maintain accurate caregiver records in internal systems.
  • Scheduling & Operations

  • Schedule caregivers to clients’ homes based on client requirements, availability, skill needs, and location.
  • Coordinate shift confirmations and follow-ups with caregivers.
  • Communicate with the operations team to ensure smooth daily workflows.
  • Work Hours

  • Must be available to work during U.S. Pacific Standard Time (PST) hours, 10 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM IST, Monday through Saturday , to support client needs and daily operations.
  • Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working as a recruiter for a US healthcare company, either directly or through a BPO.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to understand an American accent (no need to speak with one).
  • High agency, sharp, resourceful, and a self-starter who gets things done with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • B.Tech or MBA preferred, but not mandatory.
