About the Role :

Codeguardian.ai is seeking a Part-Time Cyber Deception & Honeypot-as-a-Service Consultant to design, deploy, and manage honeypot environments that simulate real-world assets and attract malicious activity for analysis. The consultant will work closely with our SOC and Threat Intelligence teams to build deception layers, collect adversarial data, and convert it into actionable insights. This is an R&D-driven, project-based engagement ideal for cybersecurity professionals who wish to contribute part-time or on a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities :

• Architect and deploy Honeypot-as-a-Service (HaaS) solutions for client and internal environments.
• Configure and manage open-source honeypot frameworks such as Cowrie, T-Pot, Dionaea, HoneyDB, or custom scripts.
• Integrate deception telemetry with SIEM / SOAR platforms (e.g., Wazuh, ELK, Splunk).
• Monitor attacker behavior and analyze collected data to identify TTPs (Tactics, Techniques & Procedures).
• Research and test emerging deception technologies and methods.
• Generate concise threat reports and recommendations for the SOC team.
• Collaborate remotely with developers and threat analysts for automation and enrichment.
