Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bengaluru for an Academic Advisor. The Academic Advisor will provide guidance and support to students in their educational journey, assist with their academic planning, and help them achieve their academic and career goals. The role involves conducting one-on-one sessions for student counseling, offering tailored career advice, and facilitating communication between students, faculty, and other stakeholders to support their overall academic success. The Academic Advisor will also address student concerns and provide recommendations for academic improvement and career planning.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge and experience in Student Counseling and Career Counseling
• Proficiency in Academic Advising and a solid understanding of Education systems
• Excellent Communication skills to effectively engage with students, faculty, and staff
• Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor students in their academic and career development
• Organizational skills and attention to detail in maintaining student records and developing academic plans
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage
• Previous experience in academic advising or student counseling is preferred
