Job Summary
As a STEMPro Mentor you will play a pivotal role in guiding students through the exciting world of STEM Education. Primary responsibility is to provide coaching, support, and resources to students.
Requirements
- 0 – 2 years of teaching experience in Science, Mathematics and Computers in K-12
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma certificate in Education, Science, Computer Science, Mathematics and related disciplines.
- Awareness of STEM concepts. Understanding of programming / coding basics is an added advantage
- If you have a basic interest and aptitude for technology, we will train you on the required STEM tools and curriculum
Responsibilities
Teaching STEM / Robotics / AI concepts to K-12 studentsEstablishing link between existing academic curriculum and STEM conceptsFacilitate project-based learning experiences, guiding students in the creation and execution of projects.Coaching and mentoring students to build STEM projects.Participate in development and updating of STEM Curriculum.Monitor and assess students' progress within the overall STEM program. Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.Be part of quarterly or annual refresher training programsMaintain open and effective communication channels with students, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders.Organize and lead regular workshops to share updates, showcase student projects, and facilitate discussions on robotics education.Communication Skills : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey concepts in an understandable manner.Demonstrated empathy and understanding of students' challenges.Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple coaching sessions and responsibilities.
