Role : Oracle Fusion HCM – Core HR & Absence Consultant (Mid-Level) Experience : 5–8 Years (Minimum 3 End-to-End Implementations)

Start Date : Immediate – Priority Workstream (CRP / UAT Phase)
Role Summary
We are looking for a committed and knowledgeable Oracle Fusion HCM Core HR & Absence Consultant to lead the HR and Absence workstream for a Saudi Arabia implementation. The consultant must have strong hands-on experience in configuring Core HR and Absence Management, an understanding of Saudi statutory requirements, and the ability to drive employee experience features through Journeys, Nudges, and ODA.
Mandatory Functional & Technical Skills
Core HR Configuration
Strong expertise in configuring enterprise structures, workforce structures, and person / employment models.
Deep understanding of hire-to-retire lifecycle, global / local HR, and HR self-service processes.
Experience defining approval workflows, security roles, document records, and employment categories.
Absence Management
Proven ability to configure absence plans, accrual rules, eligibility profiles, payment classifications, and entitlement rules.
Hands-on experience writing and debugging Fast Formulas for :
Accrual calculations
Validations and eligibility
Payment percentage tiers
Strong understanding of balance logic, carryover, forfeiture, and recalculation rules.
Employee Experience (Journeys / Nudges / ODA)
Working experience with Oracle Experience Design features :
Journeys (onboarding, cross-boarding, offboarding)
Nudges and guided employee flows
Practical knowledge of Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA) for HCM including :
Intent configuration
Channel setup
Troubleshooting FAQ and HR skillpacks
Testing & Delivery
Strong execution ownership across Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT.
Ability to analyze defects quickly, propose fixes, and document resolutions.
Experience preparing BRDs, configuration workbooks, test cases, and SOP documents.
Desired Skills (Saudi-Specific Requirements)
Statutory HR Requirements
Experienced with Saudi HR regulations including :
GOSI rules and contribution validation
Iqama & Passport tracking rules
Statutory HR reports (local formats)
Saudi Labor Law – Absence & Leave Rules
Familiarity with implementing :
Sick leave bands (full / half / no pay configurations)
Hajj leave eligibility and entitlement setup
Hijri calendar–based leave rules and public holidays
Employee Experience (Saudi Nationals vs Expats)
Ability to configure differentiated onboarding and journeys for Saudi nationals and expatriates.
Experience applying nudges for local compliance, document renewals, and employment lifecycle milestones.
