Prior to co-founding Matsya, the Managing Partner worked at two renowned, multi-billion-dollar hedge funds in New York as an Investment Analyst from 2005 until 2012. Matsya endeavours to apply the principles of stock selection practiced at top global hedge funds to the Indian equity market. The strategy of the fund is rooted in fundamental research and investment decisions are based on a medium to long term outlook on the stock and the sector that it operates in. Expertise of the fund lies in seeking mis-understood situations and abnormal stock movements, then conducting in-depth valuation on what is priced in and how that is likely to change. Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Execution Trader with a strong background in MIS and reporting. The candidate will be responsible for executing trades efficiently, monitoring order performance, maintaining trading records, and providing daily MIS and analytical reports to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

Trading & Execution :

• Execute equity, derivatives, and commodity trades as per portfolio manager instructions.
• Ensure timely, accurate order execution and confirmation across exchanges.
• Monitor intraday positions, limits, and exposures.
• Track trade confirmations, margin requirements, and exposures.
• Coordinate with brokers, dealers, and back-office teams for smooth settlements.
