Role Overview
The Technology Development Officer will be responsible for digital transformation, ERP implementation, mobile app and web development, and integration of AI-based solutions for the organization.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between construction operations and technology , enabling data-driven decision-making and process automation across all departments.
Key Responsibilities 🔹 ERP & System Development
- Manage and customize Zoho ERP modules (CRM, Projects, Inventory, HR, and Accounts).
- Coordinate with department heads to identify workflow automation opportunities.
- Develop and implement integration APIs between Zoho, web portals, and other systems.
🔹 Web & Mobile Application Development
Manage and update the company website https : / / buildingdoctor.Org / .Coordinate with developers to design new mobile app features for customer service, franchise management, and project monitoring.Ensure the mobile and web platforms are optimized for performance, security, and scalability.🔹 LMS (Learning Management System)
Develop and manage the Building Doctor Learning Portal for internal and franchise training.Upload and organize training materials, assessments, and progress tracking.Integrate LMS with ERP for employee skill analytics and certification.🔹 Technology Innovation & Research
Explore and implement AI, VR, and automation technologies in training, inspection, and customer experience.Support virtual reality-based construction simulations and product visualization.Collaborate with management to develop API-based integrations for real-time reporting and monitoring.🔹 IT Support & Digital Integration
Troubleshoot and maintain internal IT systems.Ensure data security, backup, and compliance with company policies.Support departments in using digital tools and ensure best practices in data management.Required Skills & Competencies
Hands-on experience with Zoho ERP, API Integration, and Cloud Systems .Proficiency in Web and Mobile App Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flutter, React, or similar) .Experience in Learning Management System (LMS) setup and management .Basic knowledge of VR tools, coding frameworks, and AI integration .Strong understanding of construction workflow, estimation, and project tracking tools .Excellent problem-solving, project management, and coordination skills.Self-motivated, innovative thinker with attention to detail.Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Engineering / Equivalent.2+ years of relevant professional experience in ERP, app, or web development.Exposure to construction or real-estate technology platforms preferred.
