Microimaging Equipment Specialist

Position Title : Service Engineer

Base Location : Mumbai

Division : Micro-Imaging

Primary Role :

The primary role of a service engineer is to ensure the proper installation, maintenance, and functionality of Micro Imaging instruments, particularly high-end microscopes and advanced imaging tools & softwares. The incumbent will be responsible for setting up the equipment, calibrating it for optimal performance, troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, and performing regular maintenance to prevent system failures.

Key Responsibilities :

• Responsible for performing installation, calibration, validation, and commissioning of instruments.
• Responsible for instrument troubleshooting, maintenance, service, and repairs at the customer site. This is crucial to ensure the continuous operation of equipment and systems.
• Proven experience in achieving Service and spare part targets within an assigned territory.
• Provide support to customers all over north India on Instrument Operation on site as well as remotely.
• Maintain a calendar for preventive Maintenance visits, performing without causing delay and attending service calls from customers.
• Assisting customers on instrument handling operations and smooth functioning softwares. Skills & Competencies :
• Experience of handling Medical devices, especially High end & advance imaging equipment & devices.
• Should have a good customer service attitude
• Willingness to travel extensively across the region
• Self-starter with minimum assistance needed in performing the task
• Problem solving attitude

Qualification :

BSc / MSc, B.Tech / M.Tech from Biosciences or Life Sciences or Electronics & Telecommunication or Electric & Electronics or Biomedical Engineering

Experience : 2 to 5 Years
