Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Opportunity :

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Mumbai.

This role is crucial in supporting our aggressive growth plans by identifying, attracting, and onboarding exceptional talent across various functions.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of end-to-end recruitment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating an outstanding candidate experience.

Key Recruitment :

  • Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle for assigned requisitions, from requisition intake and job description creation to offer negotiation and onboarding.

Strategic Sourcing :

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top-tier candidates using a variety of channels, including professional networks (LinkedIn Recruiter), job boards, social media, employee referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Stakeholder Partnership :

  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs, define job requirements, and develop effective recruitment plans aligned with business objectives.
  • Provide consultative guidance on market trends, talent availability, and best hiring practices.
  • Candidate Experience :

  • Ensure a consistently positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates.
  • Screening and Assessment :

  • Conduct thorough resume screening, initial phone screenings, and in-depth interviews to assess candidate qualifications, experience, technical skills, and cultural fit.
  • Interview Coordination & Feedback Management :

  • Efficiently manage and coordinate interview schedules, ensuring all parties (candidates, hiring managers, interview panel) are well-informed.
  • Collect timely and comprehensive feedback from interview panels.
  • Offer Management :

  • Prepare and extend compelling offer letters, negotiate terms and conditions with candidates, and ensure a smooth acceptance process.
  • Employer Branding :

  • Actively promote and enhance the company's employer brand by creating engaging job postings, representing the organization at recruitment events (virtual or in-person), and leveraging various platforms.
  • Data-Driven Recruitment :

  • Track and analyze key recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source of hire, conversion rates) to identify areas for improvement, optimize recruitment processes, and report on progress to stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Compliance and Documentation :

  • Ensure all recruitment practices adhere to company policies, labor laws, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized recruitment documentation.
  • Market Intelligence :

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and best practices in talent acquisition to continually enhance our recruitment MBA (Master of Business Administration) with a specialization in Human Resources, or a related field, from a reputed institution.
  • 2 to 4 years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition or full-cycle recruitment.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing, screening, and hiring high-quality candidates across various levels and functions.
  • Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques and recruitment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage with candidates, hiring managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proactive, self-driven, and a team player with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Knowledge of local labor laws and recruitment best practices in India, especially in Mumbai
