Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to lead the process mapping and implementation of our Zoho One ecosystem. You will be the crucial link between our business teams (Analysts, Operations, Finance) and the technical development lead. Your primary mission is to deeply understand our unique credit rating workflow, translate business needs into clear requirements, and ensure the Zoho platform is configured and customized to empower our team, not hinder them. You are not just a requirement gatherer; you are a process architect and a change agent.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process Mapping & Analysis :
Create detailed process maps, user stories, and workflow diagrams for the entire company’s operational processes
Identify pain points, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement and automation before technical implementation.
Facilitate the design of streamlined "to-be" processes that leverage Zoho One's capabilities.
2. Requirements Gathering & Solution Design :
Translate business and user requirements into clear, concise, and unambiguous functional specifications for the Zoho Developer / Admin.
Define and prioritize the backlog of features for implementation of Zoho tools
Specify data fields, user roles, access permissions, and reporting needs for all modules
Collaborate with the technical lead to evaluate feasibility and propose solutions that balance ideal functionality with platform constraints.
3. Project Management & Coordination :
Develop and maintain the project plan, timeline, and documentation for the business analysis phase.
Track progress against milestones and communicate status updates clearly to the Project Champion and stakeholders.
Manage scope creep by ensuring new requests are properly evaluated and prioritized.
4. Testing, Training & Change Management :
Develop and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) plans, ensuring the built solution meets business requirements.
Act as the first line of support during UAT, collecting and triaging feedback from business users.
Create user-friendly training materials, including guides, video tutorials, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Champion the change, train end-users, and drive platform adoption across the company.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Operations Specialist.
Proven experience in leading process mapping and requirements gathering sessions.
Excellent facilitator and communicator, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and distill complex business needs into clear specifications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with impeccable attention to detail.
Experience creating detailed process diagrams (using tools like Lucidchart, Miro, or Visio) and writing user stories / functional specs.
A self-starter mentality : Ability to work independently in a small team, manage your own workload, and proactively drive progress.
Highly Desirable Skills (The "Ideal Candidate" will have)
Exposure to Zoho Platform : Familiarity with Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, or the Zoho One suite is a significant advantage.
Experience in Professional Services or Financial Services : Understanding of a project-based, compliance-sensitive environment (like a law firm, consultancy, or financial institution).
Basic understanding of CRM and database concepts.
Experience with change management and user training in a small company setting.
