Job description

Key Responsibilities

Diagnostic Test Administration

Perform EKG / ECG, phonocardiogram, echocardiogram, and cardiac stress tests using appropriate diagnostic equipment.
Prepare patients for tests and explain procedures to ensure comfort and cooperation.

Patient Care & Support

Provide clear responses to patient inquiries regarding diagnostic procedures.

Monitor patients continuously during tests and promptly alert physicians to any abnormalities or critical readings.

Clinical & Procedural Assistance

Assist physicians during non-invasive cardiology procedures , ensuring accurate monitoring and patient safety.

Support scheduling of follow-up tests based on preliminary results and physician recommendations.

Equipment & Inventory Management

Maintain, clean, and calibrate all cardiological diagnostic equipment as per protocol.

Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, reporting malfunctions promptly.

Track supply inventory and manage restocking of consumables.

Continuous Learning & Compliance

Stay updated on the latest advancements in cardiology and nuclear medicine by attending workshops, seminars, and relevant training sessions.

Participate in research activities and quality improvement initiatives when required.

Ensure adherence to safety standards, infection control, and hospital protocols.
