Position Title : Business Process Analyst
Position summary :
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Business Process Analyst to join our Global Business Services (GBS) team. This role focuses on capturing, standardizing, and maintaining process documentation, including process maps, work instructions, and task procedures. You’ll collaborate across teams to drive process clarity, improvement, and adoption.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct end to end process discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather detailed information about business processes.
- Create comprehensive process maps, work instructions, and desktop procedures to document business processes accurately using process documentation tools (e.G. Visio, Mural, Signavio etc.)
- Facilitate workshops and interviews with process owners and SMEs to gather information and validate workflows.
- Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and improvement opportunities and to standardize and automate highly repetitive tasks based on business priorities.
- Drive standardization of global end-to-end processes and provide recommendations for ownership and positioning of key processes across GBS and other functions, regions and Business Units
- Defining end-to-end processes and leveraging key tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, process control, and root cause analysis to meet business objectives
- Maintain, review, and control process documentation to ensure it is up-to-date and compliant with company standards.
- Train employees and stakeholders on the use and importance of process documentation.
- Socialize process documentation across various levels of the organization to ensure understanding and adherence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Ensure all process documentation is stored and managed in a centralized repository.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of process documentation and training programs.
Technical Skills :
Experience in Global Business Services (GBS) :
Understanding of typical GBS processes, including Record To Report , Prospect To Cash, Source To Pay, HR, IT, among others.Knowledge of best practices specific to improving efficiency and service quality in GBS processes.Business Process Management :
Solid understanding of Business Process Management (BPM) frameworks and methodologiesExperience working with Quality Management Systems such as ISO 9001 : 2015, CMMI or similar frameworks.Ability to ask the right questions to uncover hidden steps, exceptions, and dependencies in workflows.Experience with Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standardsExperience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, PDCA, among others.Ability to identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement in operational processes and implement effective changes.Behavioral Competencies :
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.Strong communication skills, adaptable across technical and executive audiences.Results-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Commerce, Business, Accounting, or related field;advanced certificationsin Lean Six Sigma or Project Management preferred.
Minimum of 5+ years in similar roles, preferably in a Global Business Services environmentAbility to adapt to rapid and emerging changes in the business and technological environment.Commitment to high ethical standards and personal integrity.Proven experience in process documentation, process mapping, and conducting process discovery sessions.Strong understanding of business processes and process improvement methodologies, Quality Management System experience a plus.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in using process mapping tools and software.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Experience in training and socializing process documentation is a plus.Proven track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement initiatives and performance in complex organizations.
