Our client has built a high-scale digital consumer lending platform where credit decisions are driven by structured policy logic, real-time data, and strong governance. This role is strictly for professionals who have implemented consumer credit policies using Business Rule Engines (BRE) in an NBFC or digital lending environment.It is not a QA, RPA, generic automation, sales, or coordination role.We are scaling a consumer digital lending platform where underwriting decisions are executed through rule-based credit engines, not manual reviews.

The focus of this role is core credit decisioning — converting credit policy intent into deterministic, auditable, automated rules that power live lending journeys. You will work hands-on with credit policy and risk teams to interpret eligibility criteria, cut-offs, score thresholds, deviations, and exception logic, and translate them into executable decision rules within a Business Rule Engine. The decisions you configure will directly drive approvals, rejections, referrals, and pricing outcomes for consumer lending products.

The role involves designing and configuring decision tables, rule flows, and policy logic using BRE platforms such as FICO Blaze, ACTICO, Experian / Synapse, or equivalent decision management systems. You will partner closely with technology teams to integrate rule engines with lending platforms, APIs, and data sources, and you will own testing and validation of decision outcomes across multiple scenarios in pre-production and live environments.

Beyond implementation, you will continuously optimise credit rules to balance growth and portfolio risk, maintain clear documentation for audits and regulatory reviews, and troubleshoot any issues in automated decision flows. This is a core credit engine role, not a reporting, coordination, or testing-only assignment.

This position is suited for professionals with 3–8 years of direct experience in credit policy automation or decision management within consumer lending, fintech, or NBFC setups. You must have hands-on exposure to BRE-based credit decisioning, a strong understanding of underwriting logic for products such as personal loans, consumer loans, cards, or BNPL, and comfort working with APIs and tools like Postman. Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence is expected.
