Description : About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Developer to support and enhance our global Workday platform, with a strong focus on integrations, production support, and cross-regional collaboration (U.S., ANZ).
This role will work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to ensure seamless data flow, system stability, and efficient delivery of Workday integration solutions.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in PECI, XML / XSLT, Workday Studio, EIBs, and various Workday integration frameworks.
You will also be responsible for attending ANZ-region meetings, representing IT, and ensuring proper communication and documentation across teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop, configure, and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, connectors, PECI, Core Connectors, REST / SOAP APIs, and Workday Extend.
- Enhance existing integrations to improve performance, data quality, and end-to-end business workflows.
- Support Workday-to-aPay integration, ensuring stability, accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Provide day-to-day production support for critical integrations, including troubleshooting issues, analyzing failures, and implementing fixes.
- Address and resolve items in the product backlog, including incidents, enhancement requests, and technical updates.
- Perform root-cause analysis and proactively identify areas for optimization and automation.
- Assist in Workday architecture redesign initiatives such as data model improvements, integration refactoring, or process enhancements.
- Collaborate with HR and Payroll stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements.
- Recommend strategic improvements to streamline Workday-to-aPay and other system integrations.
- Attend ANZ meetings on behalf of U.S.-based resources when required.
- Represent the IT team in weekly HR Tech ANZ meetings, ensuring all discussions, updates, and decisions are communicated clearly.
- Prepare and distribute detailed meeting minutes, outcome summaries, and action items.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including integration specifications, process flows, configuration notes, and testing scripts.
- Ensure version control and proper documentation for all integration changes.
- Assist in developing custom reports to support HR and Payroll operations.
- Participate in Workdays bi-annual release cycles, performing regression testing, validating integration behavior, and applying necessary updates.
- Collaborate with functional teams to assess the impact of new Workday features.
- Support ANZ-specific compliance training requirements and ensure integrations align with regional regulations.
- Assist HR and IT compliance teams in meeting annual governance and audit standards.
- Be available to overlap with both EST (North America) and AUS time zones for meetings, project work, and production support.

Strong hands-on experience in PECI, XML, XSLT, Workday Studio, and Workday Integration Frameworks.Proficiency with EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, and Workday Extend.Solid understanding of Workday Reporting, including calculated fields and custom reports.Experience with troubleshooting integration errors and using Workday logs, security configuration, and monitoring tools(ref : hirist.tech)
