Senior Development Officer - CSR & Fundraising

Are you passionate about making a meaningful impact in the lives of the visually impaired? Vision-Aid Charitable Services Society (Vision-Aid India) is seeking a Senior Development Officer to lead CSR donor and relationship development and drive fundraising efforts for our organization.

About Vision-Aid India :

Founded in 2004, Vision-Aid India has grown from a single center in Vizag into a leading national NGO with a presence in 20+ cities across India, partnering with premier institutions such as Aravind Eye Hospital, L.V. Prasad Eye Institute, Sankara Nethralaya, and others. We serve over 27,000 visually impaired individuals annually through our mission to Enable, Educate, and Empower the visually challenged community. Our comprehensive programs include vision rehabilitation, skill development in areas like digital accessibility testing and computer programming, and distribution of assistive devices and technologies.

What You'll Do :

As Senior Development Officer, you will :

• Manage and grow CSR relationships, ensuring donor satisfaction and compliance with requirements.
• Research, identify, and engage prospective donors and sponsors.
• Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, leveraging digital and social media platforms in collaboration with our Digital Marketing Team
• Organize impactful events to promote Vision-Aid’s mission and solicit donations.
• Craft grant applications, fundraising proposals, and impactful donor messaging.
• Develop the existing network of donors, sponsors, and volunteers while spotting new fundraising opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to enhance training and job placement outcomes for beneficiaries.

Key Qualifications :

Education : Postgraduate degree in a relevant field.

Experience : A minimum of 2+ years in CSR donor development or fundraising in the NGO sector (4+ years preferred).

This is a primarily remote role with periodic travel to Chennai for team meetings and CSR site visits.
