We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Engineer to manage project cost estimation, budgeting, and cost control activities. The ideal candidate will ensure that all project costs are monitored, forecasted accurately, and remain within approved budgets while supporting project teams with financial insights.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for projects.

Track and monitor project expenditures, commitments, and cost performance.

Analyze cost variances and provide cost control reports to management.

Develop and maintain cost databases, unit rates, and benchmarks.

Assist in preparing tender documents, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and cost breakdowns.

Review contractor quotations, claims, and invoices for accuracy and compliance.

Support project managers in forecasting and budget revisions.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams for cost-related inputs.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and project requirements.

🔹 Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying,or related field.

3–7 years of experience in cost engineering, cost control, or quantity surveying.

Strong knowledge of cost estimation methods, budgeting, and cost control practices.

Proficiency in software such as Excel, SAP, Primavera, or cost management tools.

Excellent analytical and numerical skills.

Strong communication and reporting skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects.
