Role Overview
The General Manager of Sales will lead the company’s sales operations, drive revenue growth, and strengthen customer engagement. This role involves leading the sales team, conducting client site visits, coordinating with marketing, CRM, and other internal teams, and representing Hosachiguru at key events. The position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational execution to achieve business goals and maintain high client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities 1. Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and guide the sales team to achieve set business targets.
- Monitor performance, provide coaching, and ensure a results-driven culture.
- Build a collaborative and accountable team environment.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute sales strategies in line with organizational goals.Drive lead generation, follow-up, and closure processes effectively.Track pipeline progress through CRM and ensure accurate data maintenance.Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports and forecasts.3. Client Engagement & Site Visits
Oversee and participate in client site visits to ensure a professional experience.Engage with clients to understand requirements and ensure timely resolutions.Build long-term relationships to enhance client trust and satisfaction.4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely with Marketing, CRM, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of goals and processes.Coordinate with the Operations team for project readiness and client deliverables.Collaborate with the Finance team on client payments, invoicing, and reconciliations.Provide structured feedback to the Marketing team on lead quality and campaign effectiveness.5. Event Participation & Brand Representation
Represent Hosachiguru at expos, events, and corporate engagements.Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute marketing or client events.Ensure consistent brand representation and communication.6. Reporting & Business Insights
Monitor key performance metrics including lead conversions, sales productivity, and customer feedback.Share actionable insights and recommendations with management.Continuously analyze data to enhance sales efficiency and customer experience.Skills & Attributes
Proven experience leading and managing high-performing sales teams.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and reporting abilities.Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and data analysis.Strategic mindset with attention to detail and execution.Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.Relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, or Real Estate Sales (preferably in farmland, sustainability, or allied sectors).
