About the Role :
The Technical Lead – Oracle ERP Cloud will be responsible for driving the overall technical solution design, development, and delivery across complex ERP transformation programs. This role requires a strong blend of hands-on technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to partner with functional, business, and client teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in Oracle Cloud integrations, Reporting, and extensions—along with a strong understanding of financial processes within Oracle ERP Cloud. The role also involves guiding teams, ensuring technical quality, managing stakeholder expectations, and supporting continuous improvements across the ERP landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end technical delivery for Oracle ERP Cloud implementations (minimum 2–3 full cycles), with a strong focus on Financials modules such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Expenses.
Design, develop, and troubleshoot integrations and extensions using OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), VBCS, BI Publisher, OTBI, and Custom Reports, especially for financial processes.
Work closely with functional Finance teams to map business and accounting requirements to scalable technical solutions across Oracle ERP Cloud Financials.
Build and support integrations with external banking systems, payment gateways, tax engines, financial reporting tools, and other upstream / downstream systems.
Ensure best practices, coding standards, performance tuning, and security compliance for finance-related integrations and reporting.
Manage and mentor technical team members, providing guidance on Financials data flows, accounting logic, and subledger-to-ledger processes.
Handle client interactions, particularly with Finance stakeholders, providing technical and functional insights to resolve financial data, reporting, and integration issues.
Support enhancements, quarterly updates, regression testing, and broader project work streams impacting Oracle Financials modules.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in Oracle technologies.
Strong hands-on expertise in :
Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS)
BI Publisher, OTBI, and Custom Reporting
Proven experience delivering 2–3 Oracle ERP Cloud implementations.
Strong understanding of Oracle ERP Cloud Financial Modules and related integrations.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong technical leadership and solution design skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on UK-based projects or within the Banking / Financial Services domain.
Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, global delivery environments with distributed teams.
Requirements
Required Qualifications : 5+ years of experience in Oracle HCM with at least 3 years focusing on Oracle Cloud Payroll (Fusion). Strong functional knowledge of US payroll legislation and compliance. Experience with Fast Formulas, Payroll Elements, Balance Definitions, Checklists, QuickPays, and RetroPay. Experience with Payroll Reporting and Reconciliation. Knowledge of Oracle HDL (HCM Data Loader) and BI Publisher reports. Proven track record of at least one full-cycle Oracle Cloud Payroll implementation. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
