We seek a detail-oriented Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to manage financial reporting, tax compliance, audits, and advisory services for our growing organization. CPAs handle complex financial operations while ensuring regulatory adherence and driving strategic insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports using GAAP / IFRS standards.
- Manage tax planning, preparation, and filing for federal, state, and international returns; optimize deductions and credits to minimize liabilities.
- Conduct internal and external audits, identify risks, and recommend process improvements for compliance with SOX, IRS, and other regulations.
- Advise on budgeting, forecasting, mergers / acquisitions, and financial strategy to support business growth.
- Oversee payroll, accounts payable / receivable, and reconciliations using tools like QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial reporting deadlines.
Required Qualifications
Active CPA license from AICPA or equivalent (state board certified) with 150 credit hours of education.Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.3+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, corporate finance, or consulting firms.Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables), tax software (UltraTax, CCH), and ERP systems.Preferred Skills
Experience with international tax compliance or industry-specific accounting (tech / finance preferred).Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines during tax season.Excellent communication for client / stakeholder presentations and team leadership
