Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI agents using LLMs, planning / decision-making frameworks, and agent-based architectures.
- Build agent workflows : reasoning, memory / context management, tool or API integration, task decomposition, and decision logic to enable autonomous or semi-autonomous behavior.
- Integrate agents into applications, services or backend systems — e.g. as chatbots, copilots, automation tools or business-logic agents.
- Develop and maintain backend infrastructure, APIs, and services to support agent execution, scaling, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (product, research, design) to iterate on agent capabilities for usability, safety, reliability and real-world use cases.
- Monitor, test and evaluate agent behavior; implement safety, guardrails, logging / observability, error handling and performance monitoring.
- Document architecture, design decisions, agent logic, dependencies, evaluation results and best practices.
Required Qualifications / Skills
Strong programming skills — especially in Python (or similar languages).Experience working with AI / ML libraries, LLMs or generative-AI APIs. Familiarity with frameworks like those used to build agentic systems (e.g. LLM-wrapping, prompt engineering, tool integration, etc.) is preferred.Understanding of AI agent design concepts : multi-agent systems, memory / context management, planning / decision-making, reasoning workflows, tool use.Backend & infrastructure skills : API development, microservices, deployment workflows, scalable system design, reliability, performance optimization.Good problem-solving and system design abilities; ability to work in a fast-paced, experimental engineering environment; comfortable collaborating with research / product teams.Bachelor’s (or Master’s) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI / ML, or equivalent practical experience.
