Job descriptionManage a portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients and undertake objective detailed due diligence of borrowers / industry. Managing end to end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per the Banks credit processes and procedures collaborating with other stakeholders (Relationship Managers, Product teams and Credit Officers / Approvers). Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports. Preparation of periodic sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary. Support Relationship Managers / Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews. Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections Ability to multi-task and manage ever-changing and often conflicting priorities; Ability to work with a high level of motivation and initiative; Ensure accurate and timely compliance with internal policies and reporting procedures. Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank (or their a Global Capability Centre), asset manager or rating agency environment. There should be an emphasis on credit analysis in the context of a transaction or event, or a strong motivation to move into a more transaction driven environment. Minimum experience of 7-8 years after Post Graduation (CA / CFA / MBA Finance or their equivalents) Experience of covering EMEA Large Corporates. A good understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections. Understanding of market risk and ISDA documents would be preferred / beneficial. Familiarity with Bloomberg / CapIQ and similar systems.

Job Profile : Purpose of Role :
- MGS India, through its Credit Analysis Team, manages the credit analysis function for its corporate clients globally. We are looking for an ambitious credit analyst to cover a varied portfolio across the EMEA region.
- The Credit Analysis team is the Bank’s first line of defense and works closely with GCIB bankers, Product partners and Credit approvers to promote an optimal risk / return on the banks’ lending opportunities.
- The credit analyst will perform forward looking fundamental credit analysis on the borrowers, annual reviews and limit renewals, support on ad-hoc requests and periodic reviews when necessary.
