We are looking for a Associate Manager to support the BBPS (Bharat Bill Payment System) integration and execution initiatives at Razorpay. The role involves close coordination with Engineering, Product, and Agent / Biller Onboarding teams to ensure smooth delivery, testing, and operational readiness of BBPS integrations for banks, billers, and payment partners.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys understanding payment flows, working with APIs, and managing cross-team communication in a fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate with Engineering and Product teams to track BBPS-related development and certification milestones.

Work with Merchant Onboarding and Operations teams to ensure timely activation of billers and settlement configurations.

Support testing and certification processes with NPCI and partner banks for BBPS onboarding.

Maintain project trackers, documentation, and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.

Assist in preparing business and technical reports for BBPS volume, transaction success rates, and issue tracking.

Identify and escalate blockers early, ensuring timely follow-ups and cross-functional alignment.

Contribute to internal process improvements for BBPS merchant and issuer onboarding.

What We’re Looking For

2–4 years of experience in payments, fintech, or banking operations , preferably with exposure to BBPS or Cards flows.

Strong coordination and communication skills — able to work seamlessly with tech, product, and business teams.

Basic understanding of API workflows , payment transaction lifecycles, and reconciliation processes.

Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams.

Self-starter with a problem-solving approach and eagerness to learn new systems.

Good to Have

Prior experience working with NPCI frameworks (BBPS, IMPS or Cards).

Familiarity with banking integrations or bill payment processes.
