Role Description

1.   HVAC Design Engineer / Draft man

Experience : 2-10 Years (Relevant experience)

An industrial HVAC designer's job description includes designing, engineering, and overseeing HVAC systems for industrial facilities by performing load calculations, selecting equipment, creating detailed CAD drawings, and ensuring compliance with regulations. They work with project teams, conduct site visits, and may be involved in troubleshooting and ensuring system installation is successful to meet specific industrial needs like controlling temperature, humidity, and air quality.

Qualifications

Key responsibilities

• System Design :  Develop comprehensive HVAC system designs and layouts for Pharma and Biotech projects.
• Calculations and Sizing :  Preparing of Basis of design, Perform load calculations to determine heating, cooling, and ventilation requirements. Duct Calculations and piping systems accordingly.
• CAD and Drafting :  Create detailed P&I Schematics, Zoning Drawings, Ducting Layout, RCP and As built drawings using AUTO CAD and other design software like Revit.
• Equipment Selection :  Assist in the selection of appropriate HVAC equipment and materials like AHU sizing and Pipe selections.
• Collaboration :  Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Site Visits and Inspections :  Conduct site visits to gather project requirements, assess progress, and perform quality control checks during and after installation.
• Documentation :  Prepare technical documentation, including cost estimates, project timelines, and materials lists.
• Troubleshooting :  Assist in resolving design-related issues that arise during construction and the operational phases.
