Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Freelance Scala Data Engineer specializing in Airflow and SQL. The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data pipelines, developing efficient Extract Transform Load (ETL) workflows, and managing data warehousing processes for secure and optimal performance. The role also involves utilizing data modeling and analytics techniques to extract insights and ensure the integrity and accuracy of data processing systems.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Data Engineering and Data Modeling methodologies
• Strong skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) and Data Warehousing processes
• Experience in Data Analytics and reporting to derive actionable insights
• Proficiency in programming with Scala
• Experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Experience with cloud-based data solutions is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred
