Linux System Administrator

Job Description :

• 5 Years experience in LAMP, Min 2 years' experience in Automation
• The System Administrator will manage and maintain the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) platform, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
• The role also involves handling critical tasks such as database server crash recovery and disaster recovery for servers.
• LAMP Stack Expertise - Strong knowledge of Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP to efficiently manage and optimize the platform.
• Server Monitoring & Incident Response - Proficiency in using monitoring tools (e.g., Zabbix, Nagios) to detect and resolve infrastructure issues.
• Security Management - Experience in developing and applying security policies and rules to protect against evolving cyber threats.
• Disaster Recovery & Backup Management - Ability to recover from server crashes and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Automation - Proficient in scripting (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate daily tasks and repetitive processes.
• Postfix Mail Server Administration - Experience configuring and troubleshooting Postfix and handling mail server-related issues.
• Database Management - Strong understanding of MySQL database server management and recovery processes.
• Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system and server issues efficiently.
• Networking & Firewall Management - Solid understanding of networking protocols, firewall rules, and IP table configuration.
• Communication & Documentation - Excellent verbal and written communication skills to document procedures and collaborate with teams.
