Role Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Executive Director to lead and represent the Federation in both domestic and international forums. The ideal candidate must possess substantial experience in foreign relations, having worked closely with foreign embassies, consulates, trade missions, and international delegates. This leadership role will involve driving strategic initiatives, international engagement, and policy advocacy.
Key Responsibilities :
- Represent the Federation in official meetings, conferences, and trade delegations at national and international levels.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with foreign embassies, consulates, trade chambers, and international organizations.
- Lead planning and execution of high-level events, expos, and foreign delegation visits.
- Drive advocacy with government agencies and ministries on trade policies, export incentives, and regulatory matters.
- Oversee industry development initiatives and member engagement programs.
- Build strategic partnerships to enhance global visibility and trade opportunities for Indian rice exporters.
- Regularly interact with industry leaders, stakeholders, and international trade bodies.
- Supervise a team and ensure effective communication and project execution.
Required Qualifications & Experience :
Postgraduate degree in International Relations, Business Administration, or relevant field (MBA preferred).8-10 years of proven experience in foreign relations, particularly with embassies, trade delegations, and international diplomacy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; knowledge of other foreign languages is a plus.Experience in agri-trade, exports, or government liaison will be highly preferred.Strong leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.Comfortable working in high-pressure and protocol-heavy environments.ref : iimjobs.com)
