NIKSUN is seeking a Network Storage Engineer, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services . This role focuses on the development, deployment, and maintenance of highly available, scalable storage and container orchestration systems. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Ceph , ZFS , and NFS storage technologies

Key responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain distributed storage systems including Ceph , ZFS , and NFS for use across hybrid and cloud-native environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus
• Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI / CD and infrastructure reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
• Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.

Education requirements :

The role involves working with customer engineering teams on a wide variety of cloud projects, including migration, containerization, and transformation initiatives. Experience in regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI, ITAR, etc.) is beneficial.
