Role Focus :
As a sales specialist your role will be to explore the needs of the prospective clients around areas connected with building and sustaining high engagement and high performance organizational culture. This could include but not limited to leadership development, employee engagement, people practice design and implementation, building employee value proposition, etc. The ideal candidate must have exposure to these areas. This role directly reports to functional head and is based out of Mumbai / Bangalore.
Required Competencies :
- Proven experience of 6 to 8 years in B2B sales and business development roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Knowledge of multiple industries / sectors.
Role and Responsibilities :
Prospecting and Lead Generation :Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industries.Generate leads through various channels, including networking, and online research.Qualify leads to determine their potential value and fit with the company's products / services.Client Relationship Management :Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients.Understand client needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.Collaborate with the product / service delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction.Sales Pitch and Presentation :Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to showcase the company's products / services.Clearly communicate the value proposition and benefits to clients.Address client inquiries and objections effectively.Sales Targets and Reporting :Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, including client interactions, proposals, and closed deals.Provide regular reports on sales performance to the management team.Market Analysis and Strategy :
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.Contribute to the development of sales and business development strategies.Identify opportunities for product / service improvement based on market feedback.Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams :
Provide input on marketing strategies and promotional activities.Collaborate on new product / service launches and enhancements.Networking and Industry Events :
Attend industry conferences, events, and trade shows to represent the company.Network with potential clients and industry professionals to expand the business network.
