Job Title : SAP ABAP Consultant / Senior SAP ABAP Developer

Experience Required : 4 – 8 Years

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant with a strong technical background in ABAP development , S / 4HANA implementation , and modern ABAP concepts such as CDS Views , OData Services , and AMDPs . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting SAP custom solutions, integrations, and enhancements to meet business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Design & Development

Develop, test, and deploy custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and conversions (RICEF objects).

Implement Core Data Services (CDS) Views , OData services , and Fiori-related back-end development .

Work on Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) , Enhancement Framework (BADI / BAPI / User Exits) , and Workflow .

Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, ALE, RFC, and Web Services .

S / 4HANA & Modern ABAP

Utilize HANA-specific programming techniques (e.g., AMDPs, CDS Annotations, and performance optimization).

Build Fiori-compatible services using OData and CDS-based consumption views .

Support S / 4HANA migration or greenfield implementation projects.

Implementation & Support

Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation projects — from requirements gathering to post-go-live support.

Collaborate with functional teams (MM, SD, FI, PP, HR, etc.) to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Perform code reviews, unit testing , and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Documentation & Collaboration

Prepare technical design documents (TDDs) and unit test scripts .

Work closely with functional consultants , Basis , and security teams for smooth deployment and integration.

Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to junior developers.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

4–8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development .

Strong proficiency in :

Classical & Object-Oriented ABAP

Reports, Interfaces, Enhancements, Forms (SmartForms / Adobe Forms), Conversions

CDS Views, AMDPs, and OData services

Performance tuning and SQL trace analysis

Experience in at least one full-cycle SAP implementation (ECC or S / 4HANA).

Working knowledge of Fiori / UI5 integration is highly desirable.

Understanding of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FI / CO, or PP from a technical perspective.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.

Ready to relocate to Hyderabad - Onsite deployment

Client Location is Somajiguda (Hyderabad)

Should possess atleast 5 plus years

Should possess minimum 3 to 4 implementation experience

Should have knowledge of Odata, CDS views

Should have exposure on atleast 2 modules from the above list.
