Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to oversee and manage the end-to-end IT infrastructure for approximately 300 users. The ideal candidate must have strong experience across Office 365, firewalls, servers, networking, VOIP, Active Directory, VPN, backup management, cloud technologies, and remote desktop support. This is a hands-on role requiring deep technical expertise and the ability to independently manage enterprise-level IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure & Server Management
- Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Plan, schedule, and implement server upgrades, patches, and security updates.
- Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
2. User & Access Management
Oversee Active Directory, Group Policies, SSO, user lifecycle management.Administer Office 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.3. Network & Firewall Administration
Configure and troubleshoot LAN / WAN, switches, routers, and wireless access points.Administer enterprise firewalls (Sophos, Fortigate, Palo Alto, etc.) with strong knowledge of network security.Manage VPN configurations and secure remote access.4. Backup & Disaster Recovery
Manage enterprise backup solutions (on-prem & cloud-based).Ensure regular backups, integrity checks, and disaster recovery readiness.Develop and maintain backup policies, retention strategies, and recovery documentation.5. Cloud Administration
Manage cloud environments such as Azure or AWS.Monitor cloud resources, cost optimization, security configurations, and user roles.Handle cloud migrations, storage management, and hybrid infrastructure setups.6. VOIP & Communication Systems
Support and maintain VOIP platforms, call flows, SIP settings, and voice network configurations.Coordinate with vendors for system enhancements or issues.7. End-User Support
Provide advanced Level 3 support for escalations from helpdesk teams.Ensure timely resolution of onsite and remote user issues.Create internal documentation, SOPs, and technical guides.8. IT Operations & Vendor Coordination
Manage IT procurement, asset lifecycle, and vendor relationships.Support IT management in budgeting, planning, and implementing new technologies.Required Skills & Qualifications
