Key Responsibilities (Mention responsibilities applicable to the position. Add rows if needed)

a) In case of works where measurements are hidden after completion, as in the case of

foundations, reinforcements in RCC structures etc, check measurements are to be carried

out immediately after each activity is completed and before they are covered up.

b) Each FE shall be responsible for a given cluster of villages. FE shall be independently and

completely responsible for the complete supervision of the cluster and all the ongoing

works in that definite cluster of villages i.e., pipeline work, OHTs, HSCs, testing and

commissioning of components, etc.

c) To attend the Requests for Inspections (RFIs) timely and give go ahead to the contractor if

the work is as per the drawings and technical specifications.

d) Field Engineers are required to utilize the Daily Inspection module of Jal Rekha to

meticulously document all instructions, identified deficiencies, and essential elements

typically recorded in a site order book. This ensures a comprehensive, standardized, and

traceable account of on-site activities and directives, aligning with quality and compliance

standards.

e) Shall have to undertake all responsibilities related to field work, data collection and data

updation in Client’s digital project monitoring initiatives, like Jal Rekha, e-Prabandhan, ePraman etc.

f) Witness Quality Assurance of works, materials concrete mix designs, sampling and testing

procedure and Quality Control measures.

g) Witness / Check the laboratory and field test carried out by the contractor, ensure proper

record and testing of cubes as required.

h) Order removal and substitution of improper materials.

i) To make independent measurements and check all quantity measurements and calculations

required for payment purpose.

j) To monitor and check the day-to-day quality control, keep all measurement records.

k) To review Quality Assurance Quality Control (QAQC) system of the team and monitor if

the ongoing work on site as per approved designs, drawings, specifications in line with

approved QAQC plan.

l) To update / highlight the team and Client any non-conformity to the QAQC.

m) Check the measurements recorded in the Measurement Book are in sync with the actual

progress of work on site and per agreed contract.

n) Witness start-up, testing and commissioning as per detailed specifications and contract

• conditions;

o) To inspect the works, during the construction period.

p) Ensure that the SQC establishes a system of Quality Control & Quality Assurance of works,

approval of materials, concrete mix designs, sampling and testing procedure and check

implementation of the same.

q) To interact with GM / DGM regularly.

s) All other duties assigned by the Team Leader and GM / DGM.
