About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and highly strategic Marketing Manager with 6–7 years of experience in the FMCG sector, preferably within the dairy and consumer goods category. This role requires strong expertise across all facets of marketing — brand building, GTM planning, consumer insights, digital marketing, packaging development, and offline activations.

The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in building a new brand from scratch , owning the entire brand strategy, architecture, and launch execution. This is an opportunity for a high-performing marketer who thrives in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments and can drive both strategy and execution with equal excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Brand Strategy & Development

  • Lead the end-to-end development of a new FMCG brand, from concept to market launch.
  • Define brand purpose, positioning, personality, values, and visual identity.
  • Develop a strong brand architecture and ensure consistent execution across all touchpoints.
  • Craft compelling brand stories and messaging frameworks to build long-term brand equity.

2. Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning

  • Build detailed GTM strategies for new product launches and category entries.
  • Conduct launch readiness reviews with Sales, Supply Chain, Trade Marketing, and Operations.
  • Lead market segmentation, channel selection, distribution planning, and demand creation efforts.
  • Prepare and manage launch calendars, activation plans, and rollout timelines.
  • 3. Consumer & Market Insights

  • Conduct consumer research (qualitative & quantitative) to identify trends, needs, and opportunities.
  • Perform competitive analysis and category benchmarking to develop differentiated strategies.
  • Translate insights into product ideas, communication concepts, and brand improvements.
  • 4. Digital Marketing & Communications

  • Oversee digital campaigns, social media strategies, content development, and performance marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with creative and digital agencies to deliver high-quality brand communication.
  • Ensure an integrated marketing approach using digital, social, influencer, CRM, and offline platforms.
  • 5. Product Positioning & Packaging

  • Collaborate with R&D and design agencies to define product USPs and value propositions.
  • Lead packaging development — artwork, structure, claims, regulatory alignment, and shelf appeal.
  • Ensure packaging effectively communicates the brand story and drives consumer preference.
  • 6. Offline & BTL Activations

  • Plan and execute retail visibility programs, sampling activities, regional campaigns, and trade activations.
  • Drive strong in-store branding and last-mile consumer engagement strategies.
  • Work closely with sales teams to improve brand availability and shelf presence.
  • 7. Performance Tracking & Analytics

  • Establish KPIs for all marketing activities and track performance across channels.
  • Conduct monthly performance reviews and prepare dashboards for leadership.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, budgets, and product-market fit.
  • Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in brand building and new brand launches in FMCG.
  • Expertise in GTM strategy, consumer insights, and competitive analysis.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and performance metrics.
  • Hands-on experience in packaging development and product positioning.
  • Strong planning and execution capabilities;
  • attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and external partners effectively.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • High ownership, adaptability, and entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Education & Experience

  • MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Brand Management, or related field from a reputed institution (preferred).
  • 6–7 years of experience in FMCG — ideally within dairy or consumer goods.
  • Proven track record of launching or managing brands with measurable business impact.
