Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr IT System Administrator to join our growing IT team. This role will provide advanced technical support across the organization lead IT support projects and mentor junior support staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure end-user support and IT systems administration with a proactive attitude and a customer-focused mindset.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for hardware software network and systems issues.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to desktops laptops servers mobile devices and applications.
- Lead incident and problem management ensuring root causes are addressed and documented.
- Administer and support Windows / Mac OS environments including Active Directory Group Policy Office 365 and Exchange.
- RHCSA certification is a must.
- Maintain and support IT infrastructure including servers storage firewalls switches and wireless access points.
- Ensure IT security best practices are followed including endpoint protection patching and user access controls.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of IT projects such as system upgrades migrations and rollouts.
- Create and maintain technical documentation standard operating procedures and user guides.
- Manage IT asset inventory and software licensing compliance.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior IT support staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendors as needed.
- Participate in an on-call rotation or provide after-hours support as required.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience.Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in IT support roles including at least 2 years in a senior or escalation-level position.Strong knowledge of :Windows and macOS environmentsMicrosoft 365 Exchange SharePoint and TeamsActive Directory DNS DHCPNetworking fundamentals (TCP / IP VPNs firewalls switches)Experience with ticketing systems (e.g. ServiceNow Jira Service Desk Zendesk).switches,active directory,inventory,access,it,servers,infrastructure,firewalls
