Role Summary :
The Zonal Manager – Sales is responsible for driving sales performance, managing the zonal sales team, and ensuring achievement of revenue, productivity, and growth targets for the assigned zone. The role involves strategic planning, team leadership, market expansion, and relationship management with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sales & Revenue Management
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the zone.
- Develop and implement zonal sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions where required.
- Identify opportunities for business growth within the assigned geography.
2. Team Management
Lead, train, mentor, and motivate a team of Area Managers, Sales Managers, and front-line executives.Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure capability building.Drive high performance and accountability across the team.3. Market Development
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine sales strategies.Identify new markets, potential customer segments, and expansion opportunities.4. Customer & Partner Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and channel networks.Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.5. Operational Excellence
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and operational processes.Support the implementation of new products, initiatives, and sales programs.Ensure timely reporting of sales metrics, forecasts, and business updates.6. Cross-Functional Coordination
