Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Azure Application Architect with deep expertise in .NET technologies , cloud-native architecture , and disaster recovery strategies . The role involves designing, leading, and delivering end-to-end application architecture in a complex and mission-critical environment , particularly within the Parking Meter / Smart City domain .

You will play a key role in defining and governing architecture across applications hosted on Microsoft Azure , ensuring high availability , scalability , resilience , and compliance in a real-time environment with 24 / 7 uptime requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of applications in the parking systems domain (e.G., parking meters, payment gateways, enforcement systems).
• Architect cloud-native and hybrid applications on Microsoft Azure , leveraging services such as Azure App Services, Functions, Key Vault, Azure SQL, Event Grid, Service Bus, etc.
• Define and implement disaster recovery (DR) and failover strategies to ensure zero downtime and business continuity in production environments.
• Design secure, scalable, and maintainable systems using .NET Core / .NET 6+ , C#, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Ensure adherence to cloud governance , compliance , and security best practices .
• Drive the modernization of legacy systems and integration with third-party solutions (e.G., payment gateways, sensors, IoT devices).
• Mentor development teams and participate in code / architecture reviews .
• Work closely with business stakeholders to align architectural goals with functional and non-functional requirements.
