Job Purpose
To support effective end-to-end implementation of regulatory circulars issued by the RBI and other regulators by coordinating with internal stakeholders, tracking actions, and ensuring timely and compliant closure as per the Bank's governance standards.
Key Accountabilities
- Central coordination for dissemination and implementation of regulatory circulars
- Identification of impacted functions and facilitation of action ownership
- Tracking and follow-up on implementation progress and closure documentation
- Preparation of periodic management updates and dashboards
- Liaison with business, risk, operations, and other functions to ensure regulatory compliance alignment
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the regulatory compliance tracking tool, ensuring its smooth and efficient functioning, and actively identifies and implements improvements to its effectiveness and other related processes
- Providing additional support to compliance advisory teams as may be required
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Review and summarize regulatory circulars for internal communicationCoordinate assessment discussions and obtain feedback from relevant stakeholdersMaintain and update the regulatory circular tracker with actions and timelinesMonitor progress, escalate delays, and ensure closure evidences are documentedSupport internal governance forums with implementation status updatesAssist in continuous improvement of the circular tracking and compliance processOversee the regulatory compliance tracking tool's daily operations, ensuring smooth functioning, and drives improvements to its effectiveness and other related processesSupport regulatory compliance head and advisory teams for additional support as may be requiredRequired Experience
5-12 years of experience in Compliance or Regulatory function in a bankPrior exposure to regulatory circular implementation and stakeholder management preferredEducation / Preferred Qualifications
Postgraduate / Graduate with direct experience in banking or financial services industry
