About the Role

We are hiring a Full Stack Engineer for one of our international clients—an innovative US-based EdTech startup reinventing assignment submission and grading using AI.

In this role, you will develop a cross-platform desktop application using Electron, React, and Node.js, while integrating AI capabilities using APIs or open-source models.

You will work directly with the co-founder, contributing as an early member of the founding engineering team and shaping the product from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain cross-platform desktop applications using Electron and React.

Develop robust backend services and APIs using Node.js.

Integrate AI / ML capabilities with APIs (OpenAI, Hugging Face, custom models, etc.).

Package, deploy, and optimize Electron-based desktop apps.

Participate actively in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.

Collaborate closely with the client’s early engineering / product team.

Requirements

Must-Have

Hands-on, proven experience with Electron (mandatory).

Strong proficiency in React and Node.js.

3+ years of full-stack development experience.

Experience integrating AI / ML APIs or open-source models (preferred).

Knowledge of desktop app packaging, deployment pipelines, and performance optimization.

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with SQLite, WebSockets, or real-time communication.

Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines for desktop applications.

Understanding of UX / UI best practices.

Cloud exposure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Personal or open-source project contributions.
