About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior - Finance & Accounts to join our fast-growing start-up. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience in statutory compliances, and the ability to support financial operations in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
- Handle monthly / quarterly / annual book closing and prepare financial statements along with timely MIS
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Prepare and process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and other disbursements in a timely manner.
- Support audits, tax filings, and liaise with external auditors / consultants as required.
- Manage accounts payable / receivable and ensure accurate records of transactions.
- Maintain documentation and compliance for cross-border payments and international vendor transactions.
- Monitor cash flows and coordinate with banks and financial institutions.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, taxation, and compliance regulations relevant to the business.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance (CA / CA Inter / CMA preferred but not mandatory).4–7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a start-up or technology company.Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and general compliance requirements.Experience in book closing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Familiarity with cross-border payment processes, FEMA basics, and related compliance.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.What We Offer
