The Role

We at Pepup HR Consulting Private Limited are seeking passionate and dedicated Political Consultants to join our team.

Job Overview :  This role is vital in promoting grassroots democracy and empowering citizens to engage actively in the political process. You will work closely with community organizations, stakeholders, and government representatives to drive positive change and ensure transparency in governance.

Note - Candidates from non political background preferred, strictly no previous political experience

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement comprehensive political strategies for clients, including campaign planning, messaging, and outreach initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth research on political trends, voter demographics, and opposition strategies to inform decision-making and campaign tactics.
  • Assist in formulating policy positions and proposals that align with their political goals and constituency needs.
  • Oversee all aspects of political campaigns, including fundraising, communications, event planning, and voter outreach.
  • Develop effective communication strategies, including press releases, speeches, and social media content to promote client initiatives and messages.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and the media, facilitating interviews, managing press coverage, and responding to inquiries.
  • Track campaign progress and effectiveness, providing regular updates and reports to clients on performance metrics and public sentiment.

Ideal Profile

Qualifications :

  • 3 to 6 years in management consulting, social development, community mobilization, or public policy. Prior political experience not required.
  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Candidates from Tier I colleges will be given preference.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse communities.
  • Familiarity with local and national political landscapes, particularly in India, with a deep interest in the Indian political system.
  • Willingness to travel within India as required.

    • Location :  Initial posting in Bihar for 4 weeks, followed by relocation to Tamil Nadu for the project duration.

    Salary :  Upto ₹ 13 - 25 LPA (commensurate with experience).

    Language :  Mandatory : English, Hindi

    Good to have : Tamil
