Job descriptionBachelor's or Master’s degree in Commerce or Finance or similar required. (CPA (US) or CA (ICAI) preferred. If not a CPA (US) or CA (ICAI), must meet educational requirements to obtain the same upon hire). Experience in nonprofit clients and review of Forms 990, 990-PF, 990-T (UBTI) . Good experience with 501(c)(3 ) (both public charities and private foundations) and some experience with other types of 501(c) organizations 3 years of recent experience in public accounting that includes reviewing nonprofit entity returns prepared by the team, managing client engagements, and supervising project teams. Tax software experience in CCH Axcess . Excellent customer service skills and experience managing multiple client engagements. Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide excellent client service Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently. Highly motivated and takes initiative for professional growth and development. Should be willing to learn other tax form per business requirement. Ability to work overtime, as needed. Ability to travel
Key Responsibilities :
- Participate in client engagements by providing corporate, partnership and individual tax services; devise, plan and execute tax strategies and research potential tax issues
- Prepare and / or review returns for corporate, partnership, or individuals, including federal, foreign, state and local tax return, estimated payments and extensions
- Support Tax Staff in delivering including coaching and reviewing their work
- Review extensions and quarterly estimates Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and contribute towards implementing them
