About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and manage enterprise-grade data pipelines in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory (ADF) . This is a customer-facing role , where you’ll partner directly with clients to translate business needs into scalable data solutions, while leading and building small teams and mentoring other engineers.

The ideal candidate is hands-on with Fabric / ADF, strong in SQL and Stored Procedures , and experienced in delivering end-to-end projects using Medallion Architecture .

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize metadata-driven data pipelines in Fabric and ADF for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.Implement transformations using SQL and Stored Procedures to ensure performance and maintainability.

Architect solutions using Medallion Architecture , ensuring scalability, governance, and reusability.

Lead small teams, mentor data engineers , and set technical direction on projects.

Work directly with customers to gather requirements, troubleshoot, and provide best-practice guidance.

Integrate data from Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, and other SaaS / on-prem systems into Fabric, Data Lakes, or Warehouses.

Deliver production-grade solutions with monitoring, error handling, and performance optimization.

Document and share best practices, reusable frameworks, and provide knowledge transfer to client teams.

What You Bring

Must-have :

6+ years in data engineering , with 2+ years leading / mentoring teams .

Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory (ADF) .

Advanced proficiency in SQL and Stored Procedures .

Proven end-to-end project delivery experience (from raw ingestion to BI / analytics).

Deep understanding of Medallion Architecture and data lakehouse practices.

Excellent communication skills for working with both business and technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points For

Exposure to Oracle Fusion ERP / HCM / SCM data models or BI / reporting tools.

Familiarity with BI Connector or other integration middleware.

Consulting / professional services background (customer-facing delivery).

Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and security in Azure.

Experience with Databricks or Snowflake .
