Finance / Billing Accountant (Remote)

We are expanding our Finance & Billing team and looking for a detail-oriented professional in India who is passionate about accuracy and service.

Role Overview The Finance / Billing Accountant will be responsible for accurately charging patients based on the number of therapy sessions billed. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and patients.

Key Responsibilities Accurately calculate and charge patients based on sessions completed and billing rules.

Review patient accounts, payment histories, and session logs to ensure correct billing.

Coordinate with clinical and support teams to verify session counts and resolve discrepancies.

Communicate with patients by phone and email regarding billing questions or clarifications.

Maintain financial records and ensure all billing documents are organized and up to date.

Assist in month-end financial reporting and reconciliation tasks.

Ensure compliance with Wellnite’s internal billing policies and privacy / security standards.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).

Previous experience in billing, accounting, or financial operations preferred.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and billing processes.

Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken; must be confident speaking with patients by phone .

Ability to work U.S. business hours .

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Reliable high-speed internet and a suitable remote work environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle sensitive billing conversations professionally.
