Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud (SAP DMC) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP DMC modules such as DMCe (Execution), DMCi (Insights), Resource Orchestration, and Plant Connectivity. This role requires deep knowledge of manufacturing processes, the ability to design and configure end-to-end digital manufacturing workflows, and strong integration capabilities with SAP S / 4HANA and shop-floor systems. The candidate will be responsible for driving solution design, supporting production operations, leading implementation activities, and contributing to continuous improvement across the digital manufacturing landscape.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead implementation, configuration, and support of SAP DMC modules including DMCe, DMCi, Resource Orchestration, and Plant Connectivity.

Translate manufacturing and business requirements into scalable SAP DMC functional and technical solutions.

Configure production operator dashboards (PODs), work centers, machine models, sites, operations, and production processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve SAP DMC issues, working closely with business users, shop-floor operators, and technical teams.

Integrate SAP DMC with SAP S / 4HANA or ECC systems for data synchronization (production orders, BOMs, routings, confirmations, etc)

Work with SAP BTP, OData / REST APIs, and Cloud Integration (CPI) for custom extensions, plugins, and integrations.

Configure and manage machine connectivity using OPC UA, MQTT, and other industrial communication protocols.

Develop dashboards, KPIs, and production analytics using DMC Insights for real-time visibility and performance monitoring.

Act as the go-to person for digital manufacturing functional issues and escalations.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system operations and alignment with business needs.

Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Lead SAP DMC rollout, enhancement, and upgrade projects across client sites or manufacturing units.

Prepare project plans, manage risks, and support successful delivery within defined timelines and scope.

Conduct user training, create documentation, and ensure strong adoption of DMC solutions.

Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud or MES systems.

Strong expertise in DMCe, DMCi, Resource Orchestration, and Plant Connectivity.

Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, production workflows, BOM, routing, work centers, quality, and traceability.

Experience integrating SAP DMC with SAP S / 4HANA and shop-floor machines.

Working knowledge of SAP BTP, SAP UI5, CPI, OData / REST APIs, and related technologies.

Familiarity with cloud architecture, security, roles, and authorization models.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience with digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0 solutions, or IoT integrations is a plus.

Ability to work independently, manage stakeholders, and drive end-to-end solutions.
