• Selling Partner Trust and Store Integrity (TSI) is responsible for creating a trustworthy shopping experience across Amazon stores worldwide by protecting customers, brands, selling partners, vendors and Amazon from fraud, counterfeit, and abuse as well as providing worldclass support and building loyalty with Amazons millions of selling partners (3P and 1P).
• The Selling Partner Identity Verification (SPIV) team within SPS protects Amazon customers and stores by launching investigative projects and detection mechanisms by deep diving key events within the bad actor lifecycle to detect abuse at the earliest point and close the gap for bad actors.

Key job responsibilities

A day in the life

This role is focused on the identification and enforcement of bad and abusive vendors. Each day is different as new behaviors and trends are constantly discovered. You will be making high judgement decisions and taking direct actions to stop bad actors on worldwide stores as early as possible. While taking direct actions you will need to share your observations and trends with partner teams to constantly improve detection mechanisms. You are on the front lines of protecting Amazon customers and stopping abuse in our stores.

Internal job description

This role will be focused on the detection and referral of 1p vendor accounts for enforcement for various labeled abuse MOs, including manipulating demand and our automated ordering systems.

It will also involve extensive deep dives to discover new signals to label vendors and help identify additional vendors at scale, as well as constantly searching for opportunities to expand detection.

It may also involve managing a vendor dormancy program that includes placing innactive vendor accounts into a dormant state to mitigate risk and monitoring appeals, results of identify verification, etc.
