Finacle Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Finacle Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Shirur, Maharashtra. This is a critical onsite role for an individual with extensive hands-on experience in managing and optimizing Finacle 10.x application environments.

In this role, you will be pivotal in ensuring the stability, performance, and integrity of our client's core banking infrastructure. You will take ownership of the end-to-end lifecycle of Finacle applications, from greenfield installations to ongoing maintenance, patching, and integration with surrounding systems. Your deep technical expertise across Finacle architecture, operating systems, databases, and automation tools will be essential in supporting a robust and highly available banking Responsibilities :

Finacle Application Lifecycle Management :

• Lead and execute end-to-end greenfield installations of Finacle 10.x applications from scratch, including all necessary configurations and prerequisites.
• Manage and maintain multiple Finacle environments (Development, SIT, UAT, Production, Disaster Recovery, etc.), ensuring their health, performance, and availability.
• Configure and set up new instances of Finacle, including seamless integration with surrounding banking systems and third-party applications.
• Own the integrity of Finacle application source code and patches, ensuring consistent, controlled, and timely patching across all Administration & Optimization :
• Perform Finacle server setup, application configuration, deployments, and ongoing optimizations to enhance performance and stability.
• Monitor Finacle application and underlying infrastructure health, proactively identify issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex Finacle application and infrastructure-related problems, providing L2 / L3 support as & Scripting :
• Develop and maintain robust Shell scripts and Oracle PL / SQL procedures for automating routine tasks, system monitoring, and data manipulation related to Finacle.
• Contribute to the implementation of CI / CD pipelines for Finacle application Collaboration & Documentation :
• Collaborate closely with Finacle development teams, Oracle DBAs, Linux administrators, and other infrastructure teams to ensure smooth operations and project delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for Finacle architecture, installation procedures, configurations, troubleshooting guides, and operational runbooks.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and internal policies across all Finacle Skills & Qualifications : : Significant hands-on experience (typically 8+ years) in IT infrastructure roles, with a strong focus on Finacle core banking application 10.x Expertise (Mandatory) :
• Proven hands-on experience with End-to-End Finacle 10.x Application Installation from Scratch.
• In-depth experience with Finacle 10.x server setup, application configuration, deployment strategies, and performance optimizations.
• Extensive working experience with Finacle 10.x across different modules (e.g., Core Banking, CRM, Finacle Analytics Solution (FAS) Alerts, Fininfra, Architecture & Services :
• Good understanding of Finacle's 3-tier architecture (Web, Application, Database).
• Good understanding of Finacle and FAS backend and frontend Systems & Databases :
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in administering and troubleshooting on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Good knowledge and experience with Oracle database administration, including monitoring, basic troubleshooting, and performance aspects.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL / SQL for database queries, procedures, and data Servers & Tools :
• Hands-on experience with JBoss Application Server configuration, deployment, and management.
• Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Experience with version control systems, particularly GIT.
• Knowledge of job scheduling tools like :
• Strong Shell scripting skills (Bash, Korn Shell) for automation, system management, and integration Customizations :
