SAP CFIN Functional Tester (S / 4HANA QA)

Note : This is a dedicated QA / Testing role

Hybrid in India (Hyderabad, Bengaluru or Chennai)

5-7 Yrs Exp.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Central Finance (CFIN) Functional Tester to join our Quality Assurance (QA) team. This crucial role focuses on validating the integrity, reliability, and compliance of CFIN processes within our S / 4HANA landscape. If you have deep experience testing financial flows and thrive in a complex, integrated SAP environment, we want to hear from you!

Note : This is a dedicated QA / Testing role —not an SAP configuration position.

Key Qualifications (Must-Haves)

Experience : 5–7 years in SAP QA testing, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to SAP Central Finance (CFIN) .

SAP Modules : Strong functional testing expertise in core finance modules : FI / CO (GL, AP, AR) , plus integration experience with MM and SD .

CFIN Technicals : Hands-on experience with CFIN-specific testing, including initial load, data replication monitoring, and AIF error handling .

QA Tools : Proficiency in defect management tools like Rally, ALM, or JIRA , and experience using SQL for backend data validation.

Testing Scope : Proven ability to design and execute Functional, Integration, Regression, and UAT cycles.

What You Will Do

Test Execution : Design and execute complex functional test cases for CFIN scenarios (e.g., initial load, replication, AIF monitoring).

Validation : Ensure master data consistency, mapping accuracy, and posting logic for replicated transactions, validating integration across FI / CO, MM, and SD.

Defect Management : Log, track, and manage defects using designated tools, collaborating with developers and stakeholders through the triage process.

Documentation : Create and maintain high-quality QA documentation (Test Plans, RTM, execution reports) to provide audit evidence.

Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Functional Consultants and Business Stakeholders.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Exposure to finance or retail-specific flows (e.g., GR / IR reconciliation, Procure-to-Pay).

Familiarity with test automation frameworks and advanced QA methodologies.

Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager.

Location : Bangalore, Hyderabad, or Chennai, India

Shift Requirement : Must support U.S. business overlap until 12 : 00 PM EST .
